Some parts are better (CA gears), some are alot worse (CA piston, though its hard to top the TM piston, that thing rocks!). Anyway I haven't seen any RECENT CA guns so it's hard to say whether you'll get a good one or not, it's really hit and miss with them.
Typically TM has internals that will last longer, but CA is better for upgrading, I'd replace the piston and bushings and shim it as soon as you get it though...
