VFC has a "plastic" hopup. You guys have "plastic" lenses in your goggles that don't run away and hide when a projectile sniffs around them.
The clear chamber lets you check the setting of the hop and verify it hasn't moved. People who know a lot more than me have commented the chamber isn't an issue but for some it could be weird and scary.
