Yes, depends on how you play and how 'tight' your box is. The more higher upgraded and the tighter the box the more power the gun draws down on the battery - I have an M16A4 upgraded with a PDI 170 and a good shim job that isn't overly tight and a silent piston kit. I routinely drive that with a large 2300mah 8.4v. I also use that gun in a sort of SAW capacity so I do lean on the trigger...
