Here's my C8 SFW (British L119A1)
I'm still waiting for a proper L119A1 body.
External Parts used:
Guarder C8 Metal Body set
TM stock
Guarder Rubber Butt Pad
Guarder Large pistol Grip
G&P Knight's RAS set
Army Code L119 outer barrel
China ACOG
Internal Parts used:
Reinforced gear box
Systema Aluminum piston and head set
PDI 170% spring
Reinforced gear set
Silicone low resistant wires
Systema Magnum motor (makes a world of a difference in performance)
Prometheus 6.03 M4 barrel (will get longer one soon)
Guarder one piece hop up unit
Fitting:
Need to dremel the RAS's back ends a little shorter for it to work with the Guarder body + Army Code Barrel. Other than that, everything fits like a glove.
Gas tube from the RAS kit is has to be cut about 10mm shorter on the back end to fit the Guarder body.
Performance
385 - 395fps with 0.2g BB consistently
The Systema Magnum motor will crank up your rate of fire, as well as eliminate the back-winding of your gear box, I'm in love with the magnum motors. Rate of fire ~860 rpm
Remarks
The Guarder body has 2 extra fake pins on the lower receiver, not found in another metal receivers.
-Pin number one above the selector switch, pin number two behind the magazine catch
Ejection port will pop open while charging handle is pulled
100% correct markings of a C8 SFW including the maple leaf and Diemarco trade marks.
Army Code L119 barrel is the only available C8SFW/L119 barrel in the Airsoft market, it has Diemarco trademark and correct markings. Note that is a 16" heavy barrel, longer and beefier than that of a standard American M4A1 barrel.
Guarder Large pistol grip is the closest grip I can find to match the oversized pistol grip in the L119.
G&P RAS kit has proper numbers on each rib and also features a gas tube that runs from the gas block to inside of the upper receiver.
China ACOG (from Huang) has Trijicon ACOG marking on one side as in the real deal, also has NSN on the other side!!
I'd love to throw the L119 body on it once it is available !!
