NineBall makes a 6.03mm inner for it though, which is pretty much the only upgrade I'm considering for mine.

I've been around the block a couple of times with doing upgrades, and just because no one mass produces them does not mean that I can't get my buddies at the shop to CNC some nice custom parts, gears or otherwise.....but the springs...you got me there bro.
There are a couple of local shops that have helped me out a couple of times with custon mods and rework to my metal bodies, as well as some internals over the years (mostly for AR's and my beloved APS2). I usually have to wait until they have no runs in production, which is rare, and it's not cheap by any means, but well worth it.
As well, I have heard of a guy that has frequented a couple of the Splatters games this season who has machined every part to a custom AEG of some type...from the gears right through to the flash hider. I'm not to sure as to what model it is and who this old, quiet Asian fellow is, but Zeon and some of the regulars have told me about him.... and his work. Maybe he'll want to make some coin on the side.....
Once you have established that the work is not for real steel, almost any shop will be willing to do the work for you....for the right price.
...but the springs.....hmmmmm..
