gas is loaded from the back, shell positioned upright ( as SOP of all gas mags). you have to use the special tool (four prong plastic cylinder thing) to keep the release valve from opening. the back consist of a firing pin slightly recessed in the shell (where the primer would be located) and within it is the fill valve. pushing the firing pin in the back releases the gas, similar to airsoft gas grenade shells. if you have a arnies airsoft account, there is a review in the readers review section of the forum with pictures of the shell, tool and how to load.
