I assume you are talking about trek, And there is PILES of ambient light to run a Generation 1 night Vision. If you check out optics planet.com and look at the nvg you will see a bushnell 4x50 Prowler monocular for 200. Wholesalesports(the one in deer foot meadows) Has the same one but for 300. I have heard that this monocular can mount onto a RIS rail, Looking at pictures it does look like it has a mount. I am going to head down to whole sale and check one out, I will let you know if it can mount to a 20mm rail
