LetraJet is an airbrush propellant I used to use before I discovered the contents of green gas cans. It required a significantly different adaptor design than my current design owing to it's different valve fittings.

LetraJet was actually HCFC-22 and has been discontinued because of it's ozone depleting properties. Aerosol use of HCFC-22 (READ HCFC, not HFC) have been federally phased out in 2000 so I caught the tail end of LetraJet sales just as I got into airsoft (I've played 7 years?!).

If you have a can of HFC-134a (tetrafluoroethane), you've got a can of lower pressure propellant (lower than propane), but higher pressure than HFC-152a (difluoroethane) which is becoming prevalent because of increased usage of HFC-134a in the refrigerant industry. There has not been a significant increase in 134a production, but there has been a significant increase in 134a use in refrigerant which is why we see bottlers switching to 152a which is not as good a refrigerant.
