I find that my two dogs are also an effective theft deterrent. When we had the third one, now one could get within 6' of our house in any direction without us knowing, and If the person wasn't with us i dogs made sure they entered no further and that front door
Now that its 2 they jsut bark, and if the bugger does get inside they will constantly get in his way. Plus i keep by bow in its case next to my bed and have it set up for easy access and retrieval.
