Didn't bother reading most of this thread, so bear with me.
Regardless of any chance he might be convicted of any of these charges, I think that maybe the cops threw as many charges at the guy in question to make a point to everyone else in the area (and now across Canada to a point), do dumb stuff like this, we won't tolerate it, period. Doesn't matter if this guy gets away unscathed, the point is made fuck up like this and your life will be hell for a few months.
