ok well im glad that some 1 asked this question.. working with with ppl who deal with explosives and working with them my self now i have come across a fair bit of info. first firecrackers in canada are illegal.. 2nd makeing any form of pyrotechnics is illegal, wether it be smoke bomb, or some form of charge to throw bb's everywhere, or just playing with some left over gunpowder. u need a pyrotechnics licence to be able to do this. not the display fireworks licence. 3rd throwing any form of explosive designed to dispell "shrapnel" (bbs in these cases) is not safe. the concusive wave from the dispeling charge can do serious damage even if it is not superfisal. 4th pyrotechnics have a half decent chance(pending on the season) to start fires or bring unwanted attention to our endangered sport.

thats just my 2cents
