It's understandable to find cheap equipment since you don't know if your group is interested. Go check out the china airsoft section on AASurplus. That's as cheap as you can get.
If you want something cheaper, go to CDN Tire or Wal Mart.
Just don't expect you get the same quality and experience if you decide to cheap out on all your equipment.
