Just look in to the air nozzle: if it looks like there is some kind of restriction inside there that reduces the bore to about 1/3rd of the size of the exit, then you have a restricted air nozzle.

However this can be remedied. If you have access to a drill press, you can bore out the nozzle. Or if you can source one out, you can get the air nozzle made by "Best Gun". I've only seen this item sold by Evike.com, but they never have inventory.

Thanks for the info. What I read from the other forums is that the restricted nozzle actually bottlenecks to a smaller ID and OD, which means that if you bore it out, you're effectively removing half the length of the nozzle! Besides that, there is a small brass protusion in the nozzle.

I have acess to a milling machine as well a lathe, so fabricating one won't be a problem. However, I need the dimensions of the old nozzle to do that. In addition, I need to confirm if the old nozzle may fit into the post-ban housing of the A.I.C.S. Therefore, if any of guys can post up some pics of the old and new nozzle, we can start from there and duplicate a proper nozzle.

That aside, I've been looking for the original PCS bolt for the Tanaka A.I.C.S but this product doesn't seem to exist in the market. Can somebody confirm this? Thanks for your time guys.
