More like "F" action movies. I'm curious, what kind of budgets do your shoots have? Are you IATSE certified? Do you use only union labour?
I've worked in the industry....even "B"-grade movies generally have budgets in the single millions of dollars and employ a SPFX supervisor with a tech or two, a props supervisor with several techs working for him, and in most cases, a licensed armorer. If you truly were making *real* movies for cinematic release, you'd know the people I'm talking about, and would be directed by your AD to contact them to get the stuff you need.
Please don't call home movies or class projects "b-grade action movies". It's an insult to people who actually work in the movies. It's like joining the Sea Cadets and telling people you're in JTF2 (or, in your case, the Army Reserves).
