A normal PDI 170% spring puts out around 390fps. By normal I mean not one of the crappy PDI springs that are longer than other and made of thicker wire. Those can put out upwards of 450fps from what I've heard. Same with PDI 150% springs, the good ones will shoot around 350fps, but the stupid crappy ones upwards of 420fps. QC has gone to hell at PDI the past couple years (almost like they are putting out the practice springs that new employees make before they are qualified), I turn people away from them now.
