This might become another debate on why people shouldnt pick TMs over others. But heres my opinion... please do not flame me.
Almost all the guns that are widely used in airsoft which are produced by TM has been made/reproduced by companies such as G&P, ICS, CA, G&G, HFC, KJW etc. So the variety is there it just depends on whether you want plastic or metal.
In terms of reliability... the companies aforementioned has increased the quality in terms of reliability in the past couple years, while still offering a greater "bang for your buck" of sorts in terms of what they offer. They could POSSIBLY even rival that of TMs so called reliability.
But having handled the TMs new m4a1, its quite a solid piece no barrel wobble from what I saw and heavy in weight. Although it still has the gastly plastic body... and when you run yours hands down that thing it just doesnt beat the feel of an ICS, G&P or CA.
I would like to also add that the one piece barrel that TM uses in my opinion is alot more solid than many other stock barrels that other companies use. It feels and looks thicker more sturdier.
BUT! I will never buy a TM ever!
