Do you mean to say that rather than adjusting your scope for elevation and such, your thinking about changing your mounts?
It would be easier to just adjust the scope. rings should be used to set the scope at a comfortable position to you. If you could still shoot comfortably with low-mounts, then by all means go for it. But remember that it won't totally fix your sighting issues.
