Usually what I do with my Maruzen VZ61 Scorpion is fill it with a one second burst of propane and the rest with duster. This increases the fps and rof to a much safer level then using propane alone. Plus as you accurately stated before, parts for maruzens cant be found so you want to be extra careful with these guns.

Maruzen smg's do shoot very well on duster alone, but its just so tempting to get the harder kick and increased rof and fps from propane. Ultimately the choice is yours;

Propane= shorter life possible breakage in 1 mag
duster= long life, weaker performance

I would imagine that the way that I fill the mags would be somewhere in the middle of the 2 scenarios above. There is definatly a noticable change in performance, even with just a one second burst of propane.
