I'm not sure about the import laws, but would you really want every criminal/gangster/gang banger to get their hands on body armour?
Secondly, due to U.S. export laws and regulations, it is illegal to export anything with ballistic properties, such as MICH/ACH helmets, body armour, trauma plates, etc.
