Solid advice; Im going to be using it for some outdoor CQB stuff in tandem with my BASR. I think I'll leave it unopened in that case until it runs out of "Marui magic", then ill attempt some tinkering. One goal is to put up a full disassembly video in English on Youtube, as there are very few takedown videos on the TM SPAS-12 (the only complete one being in French).

Looking forward to back-slinging this thing for some building-to-building creeping. I will keep your inner-barrel suggestion in mind!
