there are entry level peltors that are compatible with arc rails and comtac kit, not sure why more people don't use them. You can get a set of just the hearing pro for 150 bucks or so, similar to the howard leights people keep mentioning.

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
