I fixed a WE F series the other day with the same problem, I got it out by rounding the screw hole with the Philips head bit and then finding the right size torx bit and hammering the back of the screw driver till the torx bites into the stripped screw. when you remove it put alot of downward pressure to prevent the torx bit from jumping and striping the screw further.
