During the last Deadfall, we inserted by a road drop at 0530 and patrolled until 1900h. We didn't fire a shot.

This time around, we spent 1900h Friday until 0600h on Saturday in a hide, then patrolled and conducted direct action until 0100h Sunday morning.

Marac gets it. When we set up the LP/OP on Friday, we ran 2hr shifts at 50%, standing to when we had major noises. You need to sleep to remain alert and at your best.

Marac, I'll take your water note under advisement. I ended up crushing about 6L the whole time but probably should've done more. Next time we may issue a water filter to one member of the crew. There were a couple sources on the field we may have been able to draw from.

Marac, come to deadfall next year! It would be good to see you again
