Yeah, technically no they are not. However as mentioned splitting the pistol can/should work. Here's why. You can legally import a slide kit. That's not an issue. The issue arises when trying to import a pistol frame. Now the loophole, with the slide and barrel removed the "frame" of an ebb pistol doesn't really resemble the frame of a real gun, on closer inspection it's plastic construction and the "gearbox" will make it blatantly obvious that it is not nor can be converted into an actual gun. Is it the "right way" not really but also saying something must be capable of causing bodily harm I order to be imported doesn't really hold a heap of logic but it is what it is. Keep in mind the whole while it may be sent back or destroyed by CBSA if they aren't sure of if they intemperate it as a potential restricted item.
something to read for your info

I personally wouldn't risk it, especially for an ebb pistol, so many nice bb's around lots of nice spring shotguns and gas ones. All can be had for about the price of importing a TM ebb pistol in 2 packages....
Edit, should we even be talking about this in a non av area? I mean we didn't post retail links so I think it's kosher but not 100% sure lol
