So I just got a UTG Low HK rail for my G3 and I seemed to have run into a small issue, the rail doesn't seem to fit the G3 properly.
I've tried tightening the screw/claws in way that keeps the rail level but tight but at least one side of the claws would tend to slip or cant outward leaving the rail loose enough to be pulled off by hand.
I can't tighten down the claws all the way as I believe the top of my G3 doesn't give the rail enough clearance. Its sitting flat on the top of the G3 receiver by the time the claws are tightened down with about a 1mm gap between the claws and the rail mount. I'm considering shimming the claws but I'm not sure if I'm actually installing it correctly.
Has anyone else ran into this issue on their G3?
