Awesome stuff, didn't know about LCT barrels not being threaded. Would definitely save a bit of work if I decided to go down that route in the future.
Also I hope you don't mind my asking Latvian, but since you seem pretty familiar with GHK's AK series I was wondering if you know how to differentiate a first gen AKM (2011-2012?) from the improved second gen AKM's (2013?).
I've been trying to get some information on it but there doesn't seem to be much out there. I know that the bolt and internals are different and the magazines as well (Not sure if the 7.62 magazines are different but I know the 5.45 mags have a different feed lip) but I have no idea what the differences are specifically as there doesn't seem to be comparisons between the two widely available. I found what I know on a thread on gasguns.info but its quite vague and relates to the AK105 specifically so I don't know how much of that pertains to the AKM.
