Who knows a lot about microswitches?
Cause like....WHYYYYYYY
From a technical perspective, this thing makes absolutely NO sense what so ever in an AEG.
Is it just because they're mass produced so it's much cheaper than a regular trigger switch?
The contact face isn't nearly large enough to withstand arcing from an 11.1v LiPo, even though it reduces arcing, no mechanical switch can eliminate it.
They're not even rated for use in DC systems, they only have AC ratings on them
And they don't seem to get dirty, the contact faces just erode, so you can't just clean them, you have to replace them
With the amount of moving and interfacing parts in this thing, there's NO WAY it offers less internal resistance than a regular throw switch trigger
And worst of all, the bounce prevents you from using a mosfet of any kind!
So why the hell would anyone in their right mind use a microswitch in an AEG?!?!
