Wind the conversation back, though. The guy admits he's a noob and wants one gun that he can hide in the bushes and snipe with, and then jump up, go full auto, and charge with.
Don't say 'there's no such thing'......as any aeg can be used to do this , albeit not to the standards that a guy who does nothing but sniping would demand, but for a noob, it'll be just fine.
If he said he wanted a combination top-notch sniper rifle, which then magincally turns into a top-notch chainsaw, THEN tell him it can't be done.
