Post MP5 - Guarder Large Tactical Handguard

Good day folks. I've run a search on the forums and haven't seen any mention of this anywhere, so I'm wondering if anyone has any input on this.

I'm still new to the whole Airsoft scene. I'm am shortly going to acquire Tokyo Marui's MP5 RAS. I'm sure that carrying a few of the 600mAh batteries will do just fine for a day's skirmish, but I'd like to hear from some people that use a similar gun with mini batteries to get some feedback on this.

I like to keep things to a minimum, meaning less battery swapping. I recently ran into this review from Arnies Airsoft; MP5/G3 Large Tactical Handguard

Seems like a good deal since you can fit at least an 8.4V 1800mAh battery in it, and it comes with a large to mini converter. I was wondering if anyone has seen this used out in the field? If not, the link is still a good read. Also it requires no mods to fit it, since it's made for the MP5 series.

I'd also like to hear what works well for you guys for an average skirmish. I'd hate to get stuck swapping batteries in a firefight. :banghead:
