Cmon, that bipod is easy to find... and it's the important part!
A MG36 is really just a G36 with bipod and "heavy barrel" I managed to find info from some German guy that handled one of the prototypes. It's only marginally larger (150g heavier only), and it is larger only up to the gas piston... So about 4".
If you want a "cheap" bipod, the one from WE is very sturdy. Especially compared to STAR/ARES or chinese clone bipods. Only downside is you can only buy it from the "G39E" conversion kit, with handguard and stock.
