Now if you are set to have pouches come with your rig, then a china clone might be your best bet then, however I would spend some time looking at the real stuff while you weigh your options. |

Picked one of these up (from LA Police gear) in December, has been one of the most solid plate carriers I have come across since I started.
It is a very low profile vest too if too so it allows for use with battle belts as well. If your worried about fitment and adjustability for body builds, I am skinny and short (5'5") and it fits me perfectly (with some adjusting of course) yet this could probably fit anyone that is 6'0"+ easily.
You might have to pay a little more then most of the other vest but I mean it is for real world applications such as law enforcement so the quality is the top of the line.
