Dow Corning DC-4 - Electrical Insulating Compound

Its a dielectric silicone that is moisture resistant and the viscosity will not change with the temperature (unless extreme) and will not bloat or destroy your seals.

You want something thick that wont make its way into your hopup chamber. I use it on my vsr-10 and AEGs all year round.

Its used a lot on aircraft, but a quick google search finds plenty of sources. Its about $15 for about a 5oz tube which will last a looong time.
