This may just be me but I wouldn't touch that light with a 10 foot poll. For $40 with those kind of features I would expect sub par electronics and optics, and also the fact that people say there isn't a working tail switch for it would make me err on the side of caution.
If you want a good weapon light that won't break the bank but will be extremely durable in the long run I would suggest an Armytek Viking S. If you want to get a little more fancy you could get an Armytek Predator or a Klarus XT11. There are plenty of good options under $100 and paying a little extra for a quality light is something you won't regret.
