there are various ways to get the flashider off... if it's plastic, a heatgun and pliers is enough to get it off usually, though I would start from the least destructive method first. Vicegrips on the flashhider and elbow grease.. could try submerging that portion of the gun in boiling water to soften the glue... sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't...
Do some reading on how to remove them before you try anything.
