Your load out sounds awsome. I have both the books of which you speak, and they are quite dog eared from many many readings. It was actually the osprey book that gave me the idea for the 1942s- plate f1 shows a force an in a jacket. Werner says their is lots of photo evidence for them being worn in France, but I've never seen any but the afore mentioned Fredrick's.
