One of my M9s is a tinted KJW M92F, and I've had it for a couple years without it cracking. It's only been through a few games, but has had a few hundred rounds put through it. It's fallen out of my holster a couple times, and has been tossed around in bags with other gear on top of it, and it's just fine.
The M92F doesn't have lower rails like the M9A1 or Elite, though, so the extra weight of attachments might put more stress on it, but not very much.
