A bunch of us bought some Challenger gen 1+ units at the start of the season. 3/5 went out and bought pvs 14's.
Challengers work great with lots of light indoors etc. Outside in the woods you can't see shit though unless you have lots of IR light.
Even with a supermoon at Shallow Lake 1 I could hardly see anything.
With the challenger unit you can use a rhino/J arm. For 250-300$ you can't beat being able to see at night.
