Silencer and barrel experiment on TM1911

Hey guys. So today I was bored and finally got the motivation to go and make something. I thought I would go ahead and share this with you.

The barrel started as a spare I had from an old AK74u. I cut, ground, and sanded my way to get it to work on this. I then went ahead and cut some slits into it to let excess gas escape.

Then I started on the actual silencer. I decided I wanted full metal and foam filled, no plastic or anything else that has a higher chance of breaking on me.

The goal was to come out with a more accurate, and quieter gun which I can hit further shots with. Unfortunately by the time I was done getting it all together, it was already dark out. I was able to get a few shots off, and I can say that its noticeably more silent.

Tomorrow I'll get to finding out if the longer barrel has a positive or negative effect on range and accuracy. For now, all that's left is a fancy new paintjob
