I tried pushing the mag forward, backwards, and I even turned the gun upside down to try and force it to feed.Nothing came out. This leads me to believe that there's some sort of alignment issue, since the BBs are still falling out of the magwell when I eject each magazine.
As for testing the spring strength, I actually used that retainer button to eject all the BBs back into a bag after the testing failure, so it's probably not an issue with the magazines.
The gun dry fires when I pull the trigger. It sounds like it should be shooting something, but obviously nothing comes out. As far as I can tell, it's making a normal AEG whiny-noise.
