Possible Causes of Misfeeding

I did a search on this and found some possibly relevant information, but I figured I'd ask anyway. So what are some commons issues that might cause an AEG misfeeding?

Initially, I heard that maybe my magazine springs were weak. On all my magazines. The reasoning was that I had them all fully loaded for about two weeks before a game, which is where I first discovered the feeding issue. The mags have now sat for a half year now, so I imagined that the spring strength may or may not have reverted. I tested the gun again today, and still nothing.

So now I think it might have something to do with the hop up? What are the odds of six magazines all having weakened springs permanently because of storage? So I tested out the hop up on max, and hop up completely off. Still nothing. Another reason I think the magazines aren't at fault is because everytime I eject the magazines, two or three BBs fall out of the gun.
