I picked up a cleaning kid from CT. They only have the three peice screw together, aluminum type, they go together seemlessly and I have not had any issues except that the rod itself and the and the little eyelet loop cloth holder thing fit very tight in the barrle if you dont use just the smallest cloth. However, I am using a brass barrel I belive and the rod is aluminum. So I dont think the soft aluminun will scuff the brass but who knows what will happen when using the rod on an aluminum barrel. I am still going to grab a plastic barrel rod one as soon as a see someone with more then one!
