Yup
Airsoft BB = 6mm
.22 = 5.5mm
.22 cleaning rod works fine. Of course, don't use any of the oils or solvents that may come with a cleaning kit, and never use the wire brush. Only use the rod, patches and your airsoft grade silicone oil.
