well, if the gun has never been taken apart (i.e. you bought it and haven't worked on it) then the timing is probably not off.
If you're not mechanically inclined, you should get some help and find someone to show you how to take your AEG apart. It's pretty easy to end up with a bag of parts or a whiny grindy kludged back together AEG if you don't know what you're doing.
