I ahve a chinesse radio (some frequency are not lock as the canadian version have) and it run great bought it for about 100$ shipping free and I run a troat mic that I paid about 150$ and it runs awesome I can use both UHF and VHF I can program whatever frequency I want in it. The radio have a plug for Kenwood 2 pin type of connection so anything else than that it is not compatible.
