You can get a 7.4v 20C 1600mah LiPo from hobbyking for $9 each, they're brand name, and just a tad slower than a 9.6v mini.
Due to the increased amperage the LiPo provides, you could easily match the RoF of a 9.6v mini by using a higher speed ratio of gears.
And it will fit in a king arms AN/PEQ-15 with enough room to put a triggermaster SW-COMP in there as well.

Also, please read this informative thread on LiPo's if you haven't already

I read enough about lipo's on this forum and the net. on the manual of KA m4a1 gun its says to use a 9.6V 2000mah nimh. currently using it and its great. reason i need a smaller square battery is because i bought a DD Omega 7 ris and now i need a peq for my battery. there's just not a whole lot of info on lifepo4 in airsoft. i would use a 7.4v lipo but if the 9.9v 1000mah 15c lifepo4 is ok, i would use that instead. i know 11.1v lipo is too strong for my stock gun. does anyone has more info or has been using lifepo?
