Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought DURO has the exclusive rights to make MultiCam Fabric and I don't think Propper is in the textile business. They just manufacture the uniforms. There are different fabrics of course as the Propper BDU is a 65/35 Poly/Cotton Twill and the ACU has the Ripstop added. They also have the Flame Resistant ACU with NYCO Fabric.
The different colors come from different portions of the roll. Meaning one part of a roll of MultiCam fabric can be lighter than another part. Stock photos from Tru-Spec and Propper may look different given where they fabric was chosen for those uniforms in the shot.
Plus Tru-Spec just has the 50/50 NYCO BDU, so if you compare that fabric to Propper's 65/35 fabric, then that could give a distinct difference as well. At least those our my thoughts.
