I used a repro set of comtacs to provide the mounting/swivel parts and a flashlight mount for knurled nut.
With some cutting, drilling, and dremeling this is the end result. It's sturdy and comfortable and allows for rapid cooling of the head. I did some gardening yesterday with it on. lol

I've got a pair of SwatTacs, black ComTacs, for range use, and just for kicks wanted to see how they'd feel under my airsofting helmet, and it was uncomfortable to wear, and cumbersome to take on and off, so I ditched having the idea of using some replica Comtacs for coms while airsofting. But now seeing this mod, sheer awesomeness. Definitely looks worthwhile, especially with Sordins, as the headband just a tad bit smaller on them than ComTacs.
