I know a few things of CTCSS encode/Decode from my Kenwood radios (TS-570D),But they work alittle different. So I just have a bad habit of calling it a "sub-channel" so most people understand what I'm talking about. I just can't figure out how to program channels on it as I bought these ones already done. Now the kicker is,I bought a program disk & cable set,But does Not work with Windows 7 and I didn't know that till I bought it. So I'm kinda stuck! But there has to be a way to enter manual channels? I know the key pad is dual function,I just havent figured it out ? If any one does,feel free to chim in,I'm sure it would work for the 6100 as well
