Been a while since i've posted on here, first of all wanted to say this is a great bit of kit (got one and programmed it yesterday) and the news that (with the aid of a real antenna) it can hit the low notes as well really does make this a deal..
i have a question that i promise you all i have googled, but i guess my google-foo is weak at the moment..
I have a radio that can send perfectly, but cannot receive _reliably_ sometimes i get a good 5 minutes of reception and then it's lost (buzzing, no speech can be heard) i have had it fade in and out (so i guess it's not a heating issue). I'm not Sigs, but i can solder. I know it's a shot in the dark and if this post is ignored i understand, just trying to understand why this is happening and if it is possible for me to fix.
