I might have to play with these functionnalities a bit.
Did you try it in the air band? Being a pilot and airshow enthusiast, that would be great... at least to listen when I'm at airshows. But if it can also emit, that could be in my flightbag as an emergency radio too... I don't fly often enough to buy a radio only for that purpose, but if it can also be used for this, then... great!
